About The Phoenix Theatre School

The Phoenix Theatre School is based in the Performing Arts Department of Burnt Mill School in Harlow. Operating every weekday evening, and all day Saturdays, we offer classes in Drama and Musical Theatre for students aged 4 - 18. All tutors are professionally trained and have extensive professional theatrical experience. Classes are limited in numbers to ensure that students receive the best possible level of tuition and coaching.

We do not offer ‘happy-session’ drama and dance lessons. We believe that performance is a skilled craft that can be learnt. By committing to learning these skills, students will benefit in their everyday lives regardless of whether or not they wish to pursue a professional performing career. As well as enhanced and improved stage skills, students develop better posture, speech and self-confidence.
